Expression of Interest: Senior Manager / Director, Business Services & Tax

Sydney | Mid-tier and boutique public practice | $170k - $250k+ (DOE)

The opportunity

We’re working with a number of well-regarded Sydney firms who are keen to meet experienced Senior Managers and Directors in Business Services and Tax. These are confidential, relationship-led searches. Not every firm has a role advertised, and some will create a seat for the right person.

What the roles involve

- Own and grow a portfolio of private groups, family groups, HNW individuals and owner-managed businesses
- Lead tax advisory, structuring and business advisory work, beyond compliance
- Review and sign off on complex work, and keep quality high
- Coach and develop Managers, Seniors and Intermediates
- Contribute to business development and win new work alongside partners
- Be the trusted adviser clients call first

About you

- CA qualified (CPA considered), with a strong public practice background (Big 4 or mid-tier preferred)
- Extensive experience in business services and tax, including trusts, Div 7A, CGT,



restructures and succession
- Proven track record managing a client portfolio and a team
- Commercial mindset, with confidence leading client conversations
- Interest in partnership, equity or a leadership pathway (not essential for every firm)
