About the role

Operating a mixer line that feeds an extruder. The work involves a 12 hour shift cycle of filling a system and waiting for it to process, with approximately 7 hours of active work per shift. You will work rotating dayshift and nightshift on a 4-week rotation.

Dayshift runs Monday 8:30 AM to 6 PM, then 6 AM to 6 PM Tuesday to Thursday. Nightshift runs 6 PM to 6 AM Monday to Thursday. You will not work Fridays unless busy and optional, and never work Saturday or Sunday.

Annual leave is paid out over the Christmas break (typically 3 weeks shutdown) and around Easter.

Key responsibilities

- Operate the mixer line feeding the extruder
- Lift 25kg bags as part of regular duties
- Work as part of a 4-person crew
- Ensure reliable attendance, as machines are started Monday and shutdown Friday at 6 AM

About you

- Must have reliable transport
- Must be able to lift 25kg bags
- Must know or be willing to learn how to operate a forklift
- Reliable attendance required due to continuous machine operation Monday to Friday
