About the role

You are responsible for delivering exceptional café and beverage service to our guests, creating a welcoming atmosphere through your passion for coffee, attention to detail, and friendly personality. As a Barista, you will prepare and serve high-quality coffee, tea, and other beverages, maintain a clean and organised workspace, and ensure every guest receives warm, efficient, and memorable service.

In addition to your barista responsibilities, you will support the Food & Beverage team within our restaurant and bar. This includes serving food and beverages, maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the venue, and contributing to a positive dining experience for all guests. Your professional, approachable, and service-focused manner will help us deliver on our promise of friendly and helpful hospitality throughout the hotel.

Responsibilities





- Deliver exceptional customer service and create a welcoming café experience for all guests.
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, tea, and specialty beverages in line with brand standards.
- Maintain strong knowledge of coffee offerings, beverage selections, menu items, and daily specials.
- Operate and maintain coffee equipment, ensuring cleanliness, presentation, and quality at all times.
- Provide exceptional food and beverage service, including in-room dining service when required.
- Greet and seat guests and present menus in a professional and friendly manner.
- Maintain knowledge of wine lists, beverage offerings, menus, and daily specials.
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of all stations.
- Set tables for a variety of meal periods in line with hotel standards and product specifications.
- Take food orders and enter them correctly into the Point-of-Sale System.
- Answer queries over the phone and in person and take restaurant reservations.

Skills & Qualifications

- Previous Barista experience in a fast-paced café, hotel, or hospitality environment is highly regarded.
- Robust knowledge of coffee preparation techniques, espresso extraction, milk texturing, and beverage presentation.
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
- Full working rights in Australia
- Flexible availability to workdays/nights/weekends
