Sonya Moda is an Australian womenswear label specialising in elevated occasionwear, with a growing presence across local and international markets.

We are looking for an organised, proactive and enthusiastic Fashion Operations & Founder Support Assistant to join our team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about fashion and wants to gain hands-on experience working within an established Australian fashion brand.

Working closely with the Founder and wider team, you will play an important role in the day-to-day running of the business, supporting e-commerce operations, customer service, wholesale requirements, stock management and general studio activities.

This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys being involved in different areas of a fashion business, takes pride in their work and is genuinely interested in growing with the brand long-term.

THE ROLE

Your main responsibilities will include:

E-commerce & Customer Service

- Picking, checking, packing and dispatching online customer orders, ensuring the correct styles, colours and sizes are sent.
- Managing daily shipping requirements and coordinating outgoing deliveries.
- Responding to customer emails and assisting with general customer enquiries.
- Processing customer returns, exchanges and stock updates.
- Ensuring orders and customer requests are handled accurately and in a timely manner.

Warehouse & Inventory
- Managing and maintaining accurate stock levels and warehouse organisation.




- Assisting with incoming stock deliveries, checking quantities and organising inventory.
- Assisting with regular stocktakes and inventory counts.
- Moving, sorting and organising stock, cartons and deliveries as required.
- Keeping the warehouse and working areas clean, organised and presentable.

Wholesale & Garment Preparation
- Steaming, checking, folding, labelling and preparing garments for wholesale orders.
- Preparing samples for buyers, showrooms and photo shoots.
- Assisting with wholesale stock preparation, packing and dispatch requirements.

Business & Founder Support
- Assisting with the day-to-day management of warehouse operations and supporting the wider team.
- Providing general administrative and operational support to the Founder.
- Assisting with general studio and business activities as required.

ABOUT YOU We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic, switched-on and genuinely interested in fashion.

You don't need extensive experience in the fashion industry, as we're happy to train the right person. However, you must be comfortable using a computer, confident learning new systems and capable of taking responsibility for your daily tasks.

We're looking for someone who:

- Has a genuine interest in fashion and the fashion industry.
- Is organised,



proactive and has excellent attention to detail.
- Has strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Is confident using computers, email and basic software.
- Learns quickly and is comfortable picking up new systems and processes.
- Can work independently, use initiative and manage daily priorities.
- Has a strong work ethic and takes pride in doing things properly.
- Is comfortable with a physically hands-on role, including moving stock and cartons, preparing garments and assisting with warehouse tasks.
- Is reliable, positive and looking for a long-term opportunity to grow within a fashion business.

Previous experience in fashion, retail, e-commerce or customer service is an advantage, but the right attitude, attention to detail and willingness to learn are just as important. WHAT WE OFFER
