SASScare are seeking an experienced Female Disability Support Worker in Bendigo, to join our support team.

We are seeking a team of mature female support workers - as requested by the participant.

Ideally, applicants will have:

- Previous experience in psychosocial support.
- Experience providing personal care.
- A mature, respectful and compassionate approach to supporting participants.
- Robust communication skills and the ability to maintain professional boundaries.

You'll provide care to a participant in their home and local community, supporting their independence and improving their quality of life through activities that include:
- Daily living assistance, help at meal times and general mobility
- Providing care in accordance with their individualised Care Plan
- Supporting with community based recreational and social activities
- Transportation and assistance with shopping and appointments

What you'll need:

- Cert III Individual Support (Disability) or Cert IV in Disability
- NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance
- Current National Police Check
- Drivers License, your own vehicle and full Comprehensive Insurance
- First Aid (HLTAID011) & Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) (HLTAID009)
- Current Working with Children Check
