We are currently recruiting for an experienced Lube Technician to work a 4:3 FIFO roster for our Tier 1 mining client located in the Pilbara.

Position Details: This role provides daily maintenance and service of Fixed Plant Equipment for a Tier 1 mining company. The applicant must be able to work within a team setting.

- Key Responsibilities
- Complete scheduled weekly bearing greasing and inspections on fixed plant equipment in accordance with lubrication routes, work orders, equipment manufacturer instructions and site procedures.
- Inspect and service automatic lubrication systems. Check lubricators, settings where authorised,



delivery points and associated lines; replace cartridges and batteries as required, and record completed work.
- Collect, label and submit representative oil samples using approved sampling methods. Maintain accurate equipment, sample and work order records.
- Inspect grease points and lubrication components, including pumps, reservoirs, filters, breathers, hoses, tubing and fittings. Identify leaks, blockages, damage, contamination, low levels or abnormal conditions and report defects promptly.
- Carry out lubricant and filter change-outs and, where trained and authorised, remove, repair or replace lubrication or hydraulic hoses, fittings and stainless steel tube assemblies.
- Follow site safety, isolation, permit, environmental and housekeeping requirements. Keep tools and lubrication equipment clean and prevent lubricant spills or cross-contamination.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Minimum 12 months of experience in fixed plant lubrication maintenance work or shutdowns.
- Demonstrated knowledge of safe work practices and procedures, with experience in mining, processing or another heavy industry environment.
- Experience with bearing greasing, lubrication systems and oil sampling is essential.
- Hydraulics and pneumatics experience is advantageous:
- Experience with hydraulic hoses and fittings is highly desirable but not essential.
- Valid Australian driver licence: a manual c class licence is highly desirable.
