About the Role

Looking for a rewarding remote leadership role that offers true work-life balance and complete site ownership? Cater Care is seeking a dynamic, commercially minded FIFO Village Manager to lead remote site operations across our Far North Queensland and national mining village network. Operating on a 14/7 roster (FIFO ex-Cairns), you will take full operational ownership of site facilities, lead a dedicated service team, and maintain top-tier relationships with client stakeholders.

Roster Details:

- 14 Days On, 7 Days Off roster rotation
- Fly-In, Fly-Out (FIFO) flights provided ex-Cairns

What This Role Involves:

- Manage daily village operations across site catering, accommodation, housekeeping, and facilities
- Oversee accommodation reservation platforms seamlessly (VAMS, SAMS, or RMS)
- Take full financial control of site P&L; performance with a sharp focus on labour and food costs
- Lead, mentor,



and inspire a multidisciplinary site team while building a strong safety culture
- Act as the primary in office contact to build and maintain strong relationships with client representatives

Skills and Experiences:

Desired Skills and Experience:

- Proven management experience in remote site operations, large-scale hospitality, or accommodation facilities
- Strong commercial and financial acumen with a track record managing site P&Ls;, food costs, and rostered labour
- Proficiency in accommodation reservation software (VAMS, SAMS, RMS, or similar)
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (highly desirable)
- Current Manual Driver's Licence (preferred) and Forklift licence (desirable)
- Full Australian Working Rights
