About the Role

I am partnering with an established Australian agribusiness to find a Finance Business Partner. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys partnering with senior leaders, translating complex data into practical insights, and contributing to business performance and strategy.

You will work closely with executives and operational leaders to analyse production and operational data, connecting business activity with financial outcomes. Your insights will support budgeting, forecasting and performance management, helping stakeholders understand cost drivers, improve profitability and make informed commercial decisions.

The position requires strong analytical capability, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of the business.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide financial analysis and commercial advice to business leaders.
- Prepare budgets and forecasts with operational teams.
- Analyse monthly results and explain variances against budget and forecast.
- Analyse costs, productivity and profitability to identify improvements.
- Build financial models and business cases for proposed investments.
- Prepare management reports,



dashboards and KPI analysis.
- Present financial results and recommendations to non-financial stakeholders.
- Improve reporting processes and data accuracy.

Skills & Experience

- 7+ years’ experience in finance business partnering, FP&A; or commercial finance.
- CA/CPA qualified.
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related business discipline.
- Strong analytical skills and commercial judgement.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information in straightforward terms.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and a responsive, service-oriented approach.
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in PowerPoint.
- Experience with Power BI or Tableau would be an advantage.
