Float Operator (MC Driver) – Prime Mover & Low Loader | Sydney & Regional NSW

OCON Services is seeking an experienced Float Operator (MC Licence) to support the transport of plant and equipment across civil and infrastructure projects throughout NSW.

This is a hands-on role suited to an operator confident in loading, securing, and transporting a wide range of mobile plant and crushing equipment.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate prime mover and float (low loader)
- Load and unload mobile plant and crushing equipment safely
- Transport machinery across Sydney and regional NSW
- Ensure all loads are secured in line with compliance and safety standards
- Conduct pre-start checks and maintain equipment
- Work closely with site teams and supervisors

Requirements

- MC Licence (essential)
- Proven experience driving prime mover and float/low loader




- Experience loading/unloading heavy mobile plant (excavators, crushers, etc.)
- Strong understanding of load restraint and safety requirements
- White Card (preferred)
- Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work independently

Location & Travel
- Sydney-based preferred
- Required to work short rosters in regional NSW
- Meals and accommodation provided when working away

What’s on Offer

- $40–$50 per hour (depending on experience)
