Are you a tech-savvy Forklift Operator who enjoys a mix of hands-on warehouse work and using technology to keep things running smoothly?
Rexco People is currently seeking a reliable and experienced Forklift / Warehouse Operator to join a team based in Blair Athol. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced setting, has strong computer skills and is comfortable assisting with customer orders and warehouse administration.
What's on offer?
- Pay rate: $34-$35 per hour
- Location: Blair Athol
- Hours: 38 hours per week, starting at 7:30am
- Additional hours: Occasional Saturday support may be required for custom orders
- A varied role combining forklift operation, warehousing and computer-based tasks
Key responsibilities
- Loading and unloading materials safely using a forklift
- Picking, preparing and organising customer orders
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse
- Supporting the sales team with custom and made-to-order requests
- Assisting with invoicing and processing customer orders
- Using computer systems to manage orders and warehouse information
- Providing general warehouse support and assisting with Saturday orders when required
What we're looking for
- Current forklift licence and practical forklift operating experience
- Previous warehouse or stores experience
- Confident computer skills and a tech-savvy approach
- Strong attention to detail, particularly when processing orders and invoices
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
- A reliable, proactive approach and willingness to learn
- Flexibility to assist on occasional Saturdays when required
