Full-Time Sales Representative – Independent Grocery Channel

Strategic National Group is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Full time Sales Representative to join our Independent Grocery team.

Strategic National Group is a national field marketing organisation operating across Australia. We provide our clients with expertise in sales, planogram execution and merchandising, representing leading brands including Schwarzkopf, Cold Power and Safcol.

About the Role In this role, you will be responsible for:

- Delivering independent grocery channel strategies and achieving state sales targets.

- Understanding our clients’ priorities and delivering exceptional planning and execution.

- Negotiating volume and distribution commitments, optimising shelf positioning and securing new product ranging.

- Activating promotional programs with customers.

- Driving growth across your territory by identifying new business opportunities.





- Building strong relationships with independent grocery customers.

- Executing planograms across Independent MSO customers.

- Undertaking overnight regional travel as required.

About You To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

- A minimum of 2 years’ FMCG sales experience.

- Experience within the Independent Grocery Channel, is highly advantageous but not a requirement.

- Strong relationship-building skills, both externally and internally.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Strong analytical, commercial and negotiation skills.

- Good basic technology skills.

- The ability to work autonomously and take ownership of your territory.

- Excellent time-management skills with strong attention to detail.

- An organised and proactive approach to planning.

- A valid Australian driver’s licence.
