Future Cast is looking for an experienced, reliable Gantry Crane Operator to lift and move precast concrete elements and load them onto trucks at our Shepparton factory. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in working safely, looking after finished products and keeping production and dispatch moving.

Your responsibilities Operate overhead gantry cranes to lift, turn and position precast concrete elements. Load panels and other precast products onto trucks in the required delivery sequence. Work with the production team, doggers and truck drivers to coordinate lifts.

Check lifting equipment before use and follow approved lifting arrangements. Position elements on suitable storage supports and transport frames. Check panel identification and condition against load lists before dispatch.

Help with general yard and factory duties between lifts. Report equipment faults, damage and unsafe conditions promptly.



What we’re looking for Previous gantry or overhead crane operating experience.

Experience handling precast concrete panels or similar heavy loads. Relevant licences, training and competency for the duties performed. A strong understanding of safe lifting practices and explicit communication.

Ability to follow load lists, lifting instructions and dispatch priorities. Reliability, punctuality and care when handling finished concrete products. Precast truck-loading experience and dogging or rigging qualifications will be highly regarded.
