The role involves providing a range of professional beauty services while ensuring high standards of client care, hygiene, and presentation.

The Beauty Therapist will consult with clients to understand their needs, deliver personalised treatments, and help create a relaxing and welcoming experience. Previous experience in a similar role is required, along with strong communication skills and a genuine passion for helping clients look and feel their best.

Task & responsibilities

- Consult with clients to understand their beauty needs, assess skin conditions, and recommend suitable treatments and skincare services.
- Apply general and corrective makeup according to client preferences and requirements.
- Perform facial treatments, including deep cleansing, exfoliation, and skin rejuvenation.




- Provide hair removal services, including eyebrow and body waxing, threading, bleaching, and tinting.
- Perform eyelash and eyebrow treatments, including eyelash extensions, lash lifts, and eyebrow lamination.
- Carry out cosmetic tattooing procedures in accordance with industry standards and safety requirements.
- Monitor the quality and effectiveness of beauty treatments, techniques, and products to ensure client satisfaction.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and safety when handling equipment and performing treatments.
- Manage client bookings, schedule appointments, and maintain accurate client records.
- Recommend and sell suitable skincare and cosmetic products based on clients needs.

Qualification & experience

- Minimum AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a related position.
- Solid knowledge of beauty treatments, skincare products, and relevant hygiene and safety practices.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to understand client needs and recommend suitable treatments.
