About the Role
As an Operations Agent, you will play an important role in supporting daily freight operations, ensuring shipments are processed accurately, efficiently and within operational deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sorting, scanning and processing incoming and outgoing freight.
- Loading and unloading freight and shipments.
- Handling parcels and freight in accordance with operational procedures.
- Assisting with freight movements throughout the warehouse and operational areas.
- Ensuring shipments are accurately scanned, labelled and processed.
- Supporting time-sensitive freight and distribution operations.
- Performing manual handling duties in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintaining a safe, clean and organised workplace.
- Working collaboratively with the operations team to meet daily targets and deadlines.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in freight handling, warehousing, logistics or similar environments is advantageous.
- Ability to safely perform repetitive manual handling duties.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
- Reliable attendance, punctuality and a strong work ethic.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work rostered shifts based on operational requirements.
- Commitment to workplace health and safety.
- Ability to complete required pre-employment screening, security checks and site-specific training.
