Connect Resources QLD are looking for an experienced Demolition Supervisor / Leading Hand for a project in Brassall, Ipswich.
About the role
We have a project in Brassall involving the removal of an existing sewer main, and we need a hands-on supervisor to lead the work. You'll oversee the demolition works on site, keep the crew safe and on schedule, and get stuck in on the ground alongside the team when needed.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the demolition and removal of the existing sewer main
- Lead and direct crew members on site
- Plan work sequences and ensure works are completed safely and to schedule
- Carry out and review pre-start checks, safety briefings, and site documentation
- Work on the ground with the crew as required
- Ensure compliance with WHS requirements and site-specific safety procedures
About you
- Certificate IV in Demolition (essential)
- Previous experience as a supervisor or leading hand in demolition or civil works
- Experience with underground services, pipe removal, or civil demolition (highly regarded)
- Willing to work hands-on and support the crew
- Robust safety awareness and communication skills
- White Card (required)
