About the Role:
We are seeking a hands-on Electronics Production Technician to join the production team in Perth. You will be responsible for manufacturing, assembling, inspecting and testing electronic modules and cable harnesses for recent and existing products.

Working closely with engineering, you will also assist with prototype builds, product development and the implementation of manufacturing and testing processes. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong practical electronics skills and attention to detail who wants to contribute to innovative aerospace technology.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manufacture, assemble, inspect and test electronic modules and cable harness assemblies to meet production requirements.
- Build prototype assemblies to support engineering and product development projects.
- Assemble electronic components into enclosures in accordance with drawings and technical documentation.
- Perform cable stripping, crimping, harness assembly and electrical testing.
- Assist with the development of manufacturing instructions, test procedures and quality processes for new electronic products.
- Conduct verification and validation activities to ensure products meet required specifications.
- Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams and assembly documentation.
- Perform electronic circuit and equipment fault-finding, troubleshooting and basic repairs.




- Use precision measuring equipment to support accurate assembly and inspection.
- Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams to maintain quality, safety and delivery standards.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

- A relevant certificate or diploma in electronics, electrical technology, instrumentation, automotive electrical systems or a related discipline.
- Industry experience assembling electronic modules, components and enclosures.
- Practical experience with cable stripping, crimping, wiring and electrical harness testing.
- The ability to interpret electrical and mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams and assembly instructions.
- Experience using precision measuring equipment.
- Strong electronic circuit and equipment fault-finding skills.
- Basic programming, soldering and light electrical fabrication capabilities.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability and a results-driven approach.

Highly regarded:

- Knowledge of, or progress towards, IPC-A-610 certification for electronic assembly acceptability.
- Knowledge of, or progress towards, IPC/WHMA-A-620 certification for cable and wire harness assemblies.
- We are looking for someone who takes pride in producing high-quality work, demonstrates initiative and can work effectively in a structured manufacturing environment.
