HC/MC Over Dimensional Driver – Gervale Homes

Gervale Homes is seeking afull-time HC/MC Over Dimensional Driver to join our team. Based out of our Dandenong South site, this role is responsible for the safe transportation and delivery of oversized leisure homes to Nagambie, while ensuring compliance with oversize transport regulations, permit conditions and company safety requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

- Safely transport oversized leisure homes to Nagambie.
- Operate heavy vehicles in accordance with road transport and oversize load requirements.
- Comply with NHVR regulations, oversize permit conditions and fatigue management requirements.
- Conduct daily pre-start inspections of vehicles and equipment.
- Ensure permits, documentation and logbooks are current and accurately maintained.
- Safely position and manoeuvre oversized units at delivery sites.
- Assist with site placement where required.
- Obtain proof of delivery and relevant sign-offs.
- Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of company vehicles.
- Protect company vehicles,



equipment and products during transportation.

To be successful, you will have:

- A current and valid HC or MC licence.
- A satisfactory driving record.
- Demonstrated experience operating heavy vehicles.
- Experience transportingoversized or overmass loads is highly regarded.
- Experience conducting pre-start inspections and completing vehicle logbooks.
- Sound knowledge of NHVR regulations and oversize load requirements.
- Strong knowledge of fatigue management requirements.
- Valuable communication and interpersonal skills.
- A strong commitment to safety and compliance.
