We have an opportunity available for a Qualified Diesel Mechanic or 3rd or 4th year apprentice, we are looking for an experienced individual for a full time day shift position.

We are a road transport operator, running a fleet of predominantly Western Star and Kenworth trucks & bulk tipper trailers.

Skills and Experience Required:

- Servicing and maintaining a fleet of heavy vehicles.
- Carrying out mechanical repairs, fault diagnosis and troubleshooting.
- Inspecting trucks, trailers and equipment to identify wear, damage or potential faults.
- Repairing engines, braking systems, suspension, steering and driveline components.
- Performing preventative maintenance to keep vehicles operating reliably.




- Responding to breakdowns and completing repairs as required.
- Completing maintenance paperwork and updating service records.
- Keeping the workshop clean, organized and compliant with safety procedures.

The role will entail:

- Monday to Friday with Saturday work when required
- Overtime available
- Above award rates for full time mechanic and 3rd or 4th year apprentice
