Heavy Vehicle Diesel Apprenticeship

LPC Trading Pty Ltd is seeking a motivated apprentice with a passion for working with heavy commercial vehicles to join our workshop team at Bendick Murrell. This is a great prospect to develop your skills and gain hands-on experience working across our fleet of heavy vehicles and specialised trailers, as well as company vehicles and a variety of onsite and farm equipment.

About the Role

Working alongside our experienced workshop team, your duties will include:

- Carrying out routine servicing, maintenance and repairs on our fleet of heavy vehicles and specialised trailers
- Assisting with servicing and repairs of company vehicles
- Maintenance and repairs of onsite and farm equipment, including generators, forklifts and mowers
- Assisting with fault finding and general mechanical repairs
- Maintaining a clean and safe workshop environment
- Completing your apprenticeship training and attending TAFE block release as required

Work Hours This is a full-time apprenticeship working a minimum of 40 hours per week:

Tuesday to Friday: 8:00am – 5:00pm, Saturday:



7:00am – 4:00pm

Overtime may be required as needed.

- Has a genuine interest in heavy vehicles and mechanical work
- Is motivated, reliable and willing to learn
- Has a good work ethic and takes pride in their work
- Can work effectively as part of a team
- Is committed to completing their apprenticeship
- Holds a current driver's licence and has reliable transport

Above award wages are on offer.

Additional Requirements

As part of our strict biosecurity requirements, applicants must not have birds or pigs at their place of residence.

A pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing, is required as part of the employment process.
