ABOUT THE ROLE

Backam Group is currently seeking experienced High Reach Forklift Operators for immediate start opportunities based in Villawood, NSW.

We have multiple positions available on the afternoon shift for candidates with proven experience working in freezer and cold storage environments.

This is an ongoing opportunity offering full-time hours, long-term stability, and the chance to join a busy food distribution warehouse.

⚠️ High Reach Forklift experience is essential for this role.

⚠️ This is a hands-on warehouse role involving High Reach forklift operation, RF scanning, Electric Pallet Rider operation, order picking, stock replenishment, and freezer work.

? Employment Type: Casual Ongoing (Full-Time Hours)

? Roster: Monday to Friday

⏰ Shift Times

- Monday to Thursday: 1:00pm - 9:00pm

- Friday: 11:30am - 7:30pm

? Pay Rate: $39.20 per hour + Super + Overtime

? Immediate Start Available

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Operating High Reach Forklifts for putaways, replenishment, and stock movements

- Working within freezer and cold storage environments

- RF scanning and accurate order picking

- Operating Electric Pallet Riders

- Picking and packing food products

- Stock replenishment and inventory movements





- Receiving and dispatch duties

- Loading, unloading, and relocating stock throughout the warehouse

- Maintaining warehouse accuracy and productivity targets

- General warehouse housekeeping

- Following all workplace health, safety, and food safety procedures

ABOUT YOU

You are an experienced warehouse operator who thrives in a fast-paced distribution environment and is comfortable working in freezer conditions.

To be successful, you will possess:

✔️ Current LF Forklift Licence

✔️ Minimum 12 months High Reach Forklift experience (ESSENTIAL)

✔️ Previous freezer or cold storage experience (ESSENTIAL)

✔️ Previous Electric Pallet Rider experience

✔️ Strong RF scanning and order picking experience

✔️ Experience within food distribution, logistics, or warehouse environments

✔️ Ability to meet productivity and accuracy targets

✔️ Strong commitment to workplace safety

✔️ Driver's licence and reliable transport

✔️ Excellent attendance and reliability

✔️ Availability for ongoing afternoon shift work
