We're looking for an enthusiastic, capable and people-focused Human Resources & Workforce Coordinator to play a key role in strengthening our organisation and supporting our employees.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional who enjoys variety, takes initiative and wants to make a genuine difference.

You'll work across all areas of human resources, helping us attract great people, support our teams, develop employee capabilities and create a safe, positive and high-performing workplace.

We're looking for someone who doesn't just coordinate HR processes - they help make things happen.

What You'll Be Doing

This is a varied, hands-on position where you'll work closely with managers and employees across the organisation.

Your responsibilities will include

- Recruitment & Onboarding - Coordinate recruitment, interviews, employment documentation, inductions and onboarding to help new employees succeed from day one.
- Employee Support - Provide practical HR support to employees and managers, helping resolve workplace matters and maintain positive working relationships.
- Performance Management - Coordinate probation reviews, performance development processes and support managers to address performance concerns fairly and consistently.
- Workplace Health & Safety - Support workplace safety initiatives, risk management, incident reporting, workers compensation processes and employee wellbeing.
- Training & Development - Coordinate employee training, professional development and initiatives that strengthen workforce skills and capabilities.
- Aboriginal Employment & Career Pathways - Support initiatives that strengthen Aboriginal employment, retention, professional development and leadership opportunities.
- HR Systems & Compliance - Maintain employee records,

HR systems, policies and procedures, supporting compliance with employment legislation and organisational requirements.
- Workforce Improvement - Identify opportunities to improve processes, strengthen communication and create a more effective and supportive workplace.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is organised, approachable, proactive and confident working with people at all levels. Ideally, you'll bring:
- Experience in generalist human resources, workforce coordination or a similar role.
- A sound understanding of HR practices, employment conditions and workplace processes.
- Experience supporting recruitment, employee development and performance management.
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety principles and responsibilities.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and digital HR or workforce management systems.
- The ability to handle sensitive matters professionally, maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgement.
- A positive attitude, strong initiative and a genuine commitment to helping others succeed.

Qualifications in Human Resources, Business or a related field will be highly regarded, although relevant practical experience is equally valued. Experience working in Aboriginal organisations, community services or the not-for-profit sector would be an advantage.

An Opportunity to Make Your Mark

We're entering an exciting period of organisational growth and improvement, and our people are central to that journey. You'll have the prospect to contribute to meaningful improvements,

work alongside our leadership team and help establish practical systems and processes that support our employees and strengthen organisational performance.

We value people who bring solutions, take responsibility and follow through on their commitments.

If you're passionate about people, enjoy making things work better and want a role where your contribution genuinely matters, we'd love to hear from you.
