Akaliko Global is seeking an experienced Hydraulic Fitter to join our facility in Bassendean, Western Australia.

With a global supply chain specialising in the manufacture, repair and supply of hydraulic cylinder components for the mining industry, Akaliko Global is a leading provider of aftermarket components and services. We are committed to delivering high-quality products, reliable solutions and exceptional workmanship to our customers.

About the Role The successful candidate will have strong technical experience in hydraulic cylinder and suspension component repairs, along with a commitment to quality, safety and continuous improvement.

You will play an important role in the inspection, repair, rebuilding and testing of hydraulic cylinders and suspension components, ensuring all work meets our high standards for quality and reliability.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will have:

- A recognised trade qualification in Mechanical Fitting or Fitting and Machining, preferably Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade.
- Extensive experience in stripping, assessing, repairing, rebuilding and testing hydraulic cylinders and suspension components.
- A strong commitment to quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC),



attention to detail and high standards of workmanship.
- The ability to work effectively within a team and assist with training and mentoring less experienced staff.
- Experience interpreting OEM service information, technical documentation, breakdown information and parts identification for major equipment manufacturers, including Caterpillar (CAT), Komatsu, Hitachi and Liebherr.
- Your own hand tools appropriate to the role.
- Excellent housekeeping practices and a commitment to maintaining a clean, safe and organised work setting.

Desirable Skills and Experience The following skills and qualifications will be highly regarded but are not essential:

- Conventional machining experience, including lathes and milling machines.
- Welding experience, including internal diameter (I.D.) welding, MIG and TIG.
- Current forklift licence.
- Senior First Aid certificate.
