Mildura Rural City Council is seeking Casual Immunisation Nurses to support the delivery of our community immunisation programs. Working as part of a dedicated team, you will assist with the delivery of vaccination services across a range of settings, including community clinics, school-based immunisation programs, and seasonal influenza clinics.

About the Opportunity In this position, you will:

- Deliver protected and effective immunisation services to community members of all ages.
- Assist with community clinics, school vaccination programs and influenza vaccination sessions.
- Support the implementation of Council's immunisation programs in line with current legislation and the Australian Immunisation Handbook.
- Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team to achieve positive community health outcomes.
- Apply professional judgement and clinical expertise to support quality service delivery.

What you will bring The successful applicant will have the following:

- Registration as a Registered Nurse Division 1 with AHPRA.
- Current Nurse Immuniser accreditation, or willingness to obtain accreditation within two months of commencement.
- Current CPR and Anaphylaxis certification, or the ability to obtain prior to commencement.
- A current Working with Children Check and Police Check, or the ability to obtain.
- Sound knowledge of immunisation schedules and vaccination practices.
- Strong communication, teamwork and time management skills.

Salary and Conditions The position is classified within Band 6 of Council’s Current Enterprise Agreement commencing at $60.99 per hour (inclusive of 25% casual loading) plus statutory superannuation.
