Immunologist (adult and paediatric) — Adelaide Allergy, North Adelaide SA
Part time or sessional · Employee or contractor · From December 2026 Adelaide Allergy is Austral Allergy’s first clinic outside Canberra. Three GP allergists see adults and children in North Adelaide, backed by a national network of allergists, immunologists and paediatricians. We want an immunologist to lead allergy and immunology care on site.
Your week
- Adults and children with a mix of food, drug, venom and auto-immune disease, referred by GPs across Adelaide as well as from our partner sites.
- Food and drug challenges, SCIT, SLIT and oral immunotherapy, skin prick and patch testing, done in dedicated treatment area with nursing support every day.
- Clinical lead for the Adelaide team: case review, supervision and teaching of our GP allergists and the Adelaide training cohorts that follow. Degree and nature of involvement in this work can be tailored to your interests and skills.
- Options for paid non-clinical work in research,
education or clinical governance, including the Adelaide Director of Training role.
Terms
- One to three days a week, with room to grow as the clinic does.
- Employee role: Competitive base salary (think staff specialist) plus paid leave, and a substantial performance incentive. Contractor options available for experienced specialists, contact us to learn more.
- Practice manager, reception and nursing in place. Billing handled for you.
You’ll bring
- FRACP in Clinical Immunology and Allergy (either Adult or Paediatric). Advanced Trainees within six months of fellowship are welcome.
