Bank… and you. In Retail Banking, our customers are at the heart of everything we do. This specialist team plays a vital role in delivering exceptional service and advice to Retail Banking staff over the phone, ensuring the insurance needs of Bendigo customers are met with care and expertise. The team provides frontline support to Bendigo Bank customers by responding to inbound insurance inquiries and conducting outbound calls and emails to support campaigns and drive growth. By building solid relationships within the insurance team, the wider Bendigo Bank organisation, and our trusted insurance partner IAG/CGU, the Branch Support team ensures the delivery of accurate insurance advice.

Key responsibilities:

- You will support end-to-end management of customer insurance policies, identify opportunities to retain existing customers, strategically secure new insurance sales, and deepen our customer relationships by identifying opportunities to refer customers to the wider range of financial products and services offered by Bendigo Bank.
- You will deliver timely and up-to-date information and support on insurance products, meeting both our internal and external customers' needs, with the goal to promote sales outcomes while prioritising and ensuring a positive customer experience.
- You will foster collaboration and putting the customer first across people, process, sales, credit, stakeholder management and compliance.

This is a full-time, permanent role based at our Bendigo or Melbourne Head Office.



We prioritise our people with a hybrid working model shared between office and work from home.Working hours are 8:30am - 5:00pm Monday to Friday.

What you'll bring to the role

To succeed in this role, we'd love you to have:

- Experience delivering insurance or banking products to either face-to-face or phone-based customers
- Proven experience in ethical and compliant sales or retention performance
- A positive mindset, as well as a proactive approach to learning and a flexible attitude toward change, embracing new challenges with enthusiasm
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate information. A confident, professional phone manner, ensuring positive interactions with customers and stakeholders alike
- Ability to work and contribute in a high-performing team culture by motivating, engaging and holding colleagues accountable for their contributions and by sharing knowledge
