KEEP THE FUN RUNNING!

MULTIPLE TECHNICIAN POSITIONS AVAILABLE | NSW

Love fixing things, solving problems and learning something new every day? This could be the job for you!

At iPlay Australia, our technicians are the people behind the fun, keeping our bowling lanes rolling, arcade games playing and entertainment equipment running across our growing network of NSW venues.

We're looking for hands-on, mechanically minded and technically curious people to join our team. Whether you're an experienced Bowling Technician, an Arcade Technician, or someone with a background in electrical, electronic or mechanical repairs looking for a new challenge, we'd love to hear from you.

The best part? You don't need to know everything before you start.

Our equipment is varied, the challenges are different every day, and there's always something new to learn. You'll have the full backing of an experienced technical team with over 120+ years of combined industry knowledge behind you. We'll help you develop your skills, learn the equipment and build your confidence along the way.

If you enjoy working with your hands, figuring out how things work and getting equipment back up and running, we'd love to have you on board.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?

- Multiple positions available across NSW
- Full time, permanent employment
- Immediate starts available
- Structured training and ongoing support from experienced technicians
- Access to a technical team with over 120+ years of combined knowledge
- The opportunity to learn across bowling, arcade and amusement equipment
- A varied role where no two days are the same
- Genuine career progression opportunities, including pathways to Lead Technician and Technician Manager
- Relocation assistance considered for the right candidate
- The chance to be part of one of Australia's fastest growing entertainment businesses

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING? You'll travel between our NSW venues, working on a wide variety of equipment to keep our entertainment experiences operating safely and reliably.

One day you could be fault-finding a 10-pin bowling pinsetter, the next repairing an arcade machine, diagnosing an electronic fault or carrying out preventative maintenance.

You'll never be stuck doing the same thing every day, and you'll continually build your skills and technical knowledge.

BOWLING TECHNICIANS

Help keep our bowling lanes rolling by maintaining, diagnosing and repairing equipment such as:

- 10-pin bowling pinsetters and pinspotters
- Motors, belts, pulleys and drive systems
- Ball returns and lift systems
- Sensors, switches and control systems
- Electrical and mechanical components
- Bowling scoring and electronic systems
- General servicing, preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs

Experience with commercial bowling equipment is highly regarded, but it's not essential if you have the right technical foundation and a willingness to learn. ARCADE & AMUSEMENT TECHNICIANS

Help keep the games playing by working on a variety of arcade and entertainment equipment, including:

- Arcade, redemption and prize machines
- Ticketing and card reader systems
- Sensors, switches and control systems
- Electrical and electronic components
- Wiring, harnesses and circuit boards
- Mechanical faults and component repairs
- Preventative maintenance, testing and general servicing

Depending on your experience, you may specialise in one area or develop skills across both bowling and arcade equipment. WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We're looking for people who are practical, curious and enjoy working out how things work.

You might already be an experienced technician, or you might be a qualified tradesperson looking to take your skills in a different direction.

Ideally, you'll have:

- Experience in mechanical repairs, electrical work, electronics, industrial maintenance, bowling or amusement equipment
- A practical approach to fault-finding and problem-solving
- An interest in learning new equipment and developing your technical skills
- The ability to work independently while being part of a supportive team

- Good communication skills and a commitment to doing the job properly
- A current driver's licence
- The ability to travel between NSW venues
- Flexibility to occasionally work weekends when required

Previous experience reading wiring diagrams, working with motors, sensors and control systems, or diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults will be an advantage. But here's the important part: we don't expect you to know it all.

You don't need to walk through the door knowing how every machine works. What matters is that you're willing to learn, aren't afraid to ask questions, enjoy a challenge and take pride in finding the solution.

Our experienced technicians will be there to support you, share their knowledge and help you grow into the role.

NEVER WORKED ON BOWLING OR ARCADE EQUIPMENT BEFORE?

No problem!

If you've worked as an electrician, mechanic, fitter, maintenance technician, electronics technician or in another hands-on technical role, many of your existing skills will transfer across.

We'll help you learn the equipment, understand the systems and develop the skills you need.

We can teach you the machines. We want you to bring the attitude, curiosity and willingness to learn.
