Italian Speaking Social Visit Volunteer The HammondCare Volunteer Program offers a beautiful way to bring warmth, connection, and companionship to an older person right here in Wahroonga.
We are seeking a kind, Italian‑speaking volunteer to spend time with an elderly resident who would truly treasure conversation in their own language. A friendly visit over a cuppa and a chat, or—when the weather is kind—a gentle walk around the grounds with a stop at the onsite café, can mean more than words can express.
Your presence, your language, and your heart can brighten someone’s day in the most meaningful way.
Your impact
Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.
