JITA CARE is looking for a caring, reliable and experienced Italian-speaking Disability Support Worker to join our team.

We support NDIS participants across Adelaide and are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys helping others, building meaningful relationships and providing support that respects each person's needs and preferences.

We are currently seeking a fluent Italian speaker to support an NDIS participant who values being able to communicate comfortably in their preferred language.

About the Role

- Providing person-centred support to an NDIS participant.
- Building a positive, trusting and respectful relationship.
- Supporting the participant's individual needs, routines and preferences.
- Encouraging independence, choice and dignity in everyday life.

Specific duties and shift arrangements will be discussed with shortlisted applicants. For this particular participant match, a female Support Worker aged 35 or over is preferred, in line with the participant's individual care needs and personal preferences.

Requirements

- Fluent spoken Italian.
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.




- Current First Aid & CPR.
- Right to work in Australia.
- Reliable, patient and respectful approach.

Desirable
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability or Community Services.
- Previous experience supporting people with disabilities.
- Driver's licence and reliable vehicle.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience providing person-centred care and building long-term relationships with participants.
