Joinery Installer – Melbourne (Employee or Subcontractor)
Benchmark Installs fits out high-end residential & commercial joinery across Melbourne & abroad. We work with some of the city’s best cabinet makers and builders on architect-designed homes, and we need experienced installers to start now.
What the work is
- Installing kitchens, robes, wall panelling and custom joinery, usually as lead on site
- Working from architectural drawings and sorting out problems on site before they become defects
- Installing joinery for well known brands in flagship stores, with working away from home opportunities
- Fitting and adjusting Blum, Hettich and Hafele hardware
- Working with builders, site managers and the cabinetmakers to hit program dates
- Opportunity to work on major events at the Aus Open / F1
What we offer
- $45–$65/hr depending on experience (or subbie rates by arrangement)

What you’ll need
- At least 3 years in high-end residential joinery install or cabinet making
- Solid experience with premium hardware systems
- White Card and full driver’s licence
- Your own vehicle to start with
- The ability to deal with clients and builders professionally
