About the role

IKKAI is a Japanese restaurant located in Melbourne CBD. We are looking for reliable and friendly full time team members to join us in either a Front-of-House (Wait Staff) or Kitchen Hand position.

You will work 4–5 shifts per week, with shifts of 5–8 hours between 10:50 am and 10:00 pm. Our restaurant is located at 113 Hardware St, Melbourne VIC 3000.

Key responsibilities

Front of House

- Welcoming and assisting customers

- Taking orders and serving food and drinks

- Keeping the dining area clean and tidy

- Supporting the front-of-house team as needed

Kitchen Hand

- Assisting with basic food preparation

- Plating and preparing dishes

- Helping with frying and other simple cooking tasks

- Keeping the kitchen clean and tidy

- Supporting the kitchen team as needed

About you

- Responsible and reliable

- Enjoy working as part of a team
- For the Front-of-House role, enjoy providing customer service

- Able to communicate in everyday English

- Previous experience is welcome, but not essential
