About the Role

Golden Grill Palace is seeking a reliable, hardworking and motivated Kitchen Hand to join our kitchen team. The successful applicant will assist our kitchen staff with food preparation, cleaning and general kitchen duties to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our restaurant.

We are looking for someone who works well in a team, maintains high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, and can work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist chefs and cooks with basic food preparation, including washing, peeling and cutting vegetables and other ingredients.
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils and kitchen equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen, food preparation areas and storage spaces.
- Clean kitchen floors, benches, sinks and other work surfaces.
- Dispose of rubbish and maintain appropriate waste management practices.
- Receive, unpack and store deliveries in the correct locations.
- Assist with stock rotation and ensure food is stored safely and correctly.
- Follow food safety, workplace health and safety, and hygiene procedures.
- Keep kitchen equipment and utensils clean and organised.




- Support chefs and other kitchen staff during busy service periods.
- Carry out other reasonable kitchen duties as required.

- Ability to perform the physical duties of the role, including standing for extended periods and lifting kitchen items safely.

Pay: $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 per week
