XTecGen is an independent materials testing laboratory specialising in testing construction products. We are a NATA accredited testing facility AS ISO 17025:2018. We're a growing laboratory, always looking to expand our testing scope.
The role:
As our Laboratory Technician, you'll carry out general materials testing and help keep our lab running smoothly, safely and in line with NATA requirements.
Key responsibilities:
- Perform general materials testing in accordance with approved test methods, procedures and client requirements
- Conduct testing to NATA-accredited methods and help maintain compliance with NATA accreditation requirements
- Prepare accurate test records, reports and supporting documentation in line with our quality procedures
- Assist with preparing, operating and maintaining the laboratory.
- Identify opportunities to improve testing methods, processes and efficiency
- Provide technical support for client testing requirements and assist with client enquiries
- Follow and promote safe work practices and contribute to continuous safety improvements
- Other reasonable duties as required
