About the role

Lead and coordinate a small grounds maintenance crew for GreenEdge Solutions QLD, a Queensland-owned business specialising in body corporate, strata, commercial and residential grounds maintenance. You will manage daily schedules, job completion and productivity across Brisbane and the Gold Coast, carrying out commercial mowing, edging, whipper snipping, hedging, pruning and garden maintenance and turf installs.

Key responsibilities

- Lead and coordinate a small grounds maintenance crew
- Carry out commercial mowing, edging, whipper snipping, hedging, pruning and garden maintenance and turf installs
- Maintain high standards across all residential, body corporate and commercial properties
- Conduct quality checks and ensure sites are left clean and presentable
- Use ServiceM8 to follow job instructions, upload photos and complete job notes
- Manage vehicle, trailer and equipment pre-starts and report maintenance requirements
- Communicate professionally with clients and management
- Identify additional work, report issues and take ownership of problems
- Maintain protected work practices and hold the team accountable

About you





- Strong experience in commercial grounds maintenance and landscaping
- Previous leadership experience or the ability to confidently lead a crew
- Skilled in operating commercial mowers and grounds maintenance equipment
- Reliable, organised, proactive and accountable
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Confident communicating with clients and staff
- Current driver's licence and confident towing trailers
- Basic mechanical knowledge and good problem-solving skills
- Comfortable using smartphones and job management software
