- Has an understanding of, or willingness to learn about, adolescent development and trauma.
- Values diversity, inclusion and creating a safe and welcoming home.
- Is comfortable working collaboratively with case managers and participating in regular meetings and training.

Most importantly, you'll bring patience, consistency and a genuine commitment to helping young people thrive.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Lead Tenant, You'll

- Be a positive role model, demonstrating respectful communication, healthy boundaries and responsible shared living.
- Encourage independence by helping young people develop everyday skills, including cooking, shopping, cleaning and budgeting.
- Create a welcoming home environment where young people feel safe, respected and supported.
- Support positive relationships, encouraging healthy connections with family, friends and support networks.
- Help navigate shared living arrangements, including household responsibilities and minor disagreements.
- Work alongside Berry Street Yooralla staff, sharing updates and participating in household meetings, supervision and training.
- Respect each young person's individuality, including their cultural background, identity and personal circumstances.

- Rent and utility-free accommodation in Greensborough.
- Regular supervision and support from a dedicated case manager.
- Ongoing training and development to help you feel confident in the role.
- Access to after-hours assistance and program support.
