12 Month Contract with Extensions Federal Government Opportunity Melbourne, Sydney or Canberra About the Role We are seeking an experienced LIMS Administrator to support and enhance the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) environment for a leading scientific and analytical laboratory. In this role, you will work closely with stakeholders to administer, configure, troubleshoot, and improve the LIMS platform, ensuring the smooth delivery of laboratory operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Support and administer the LIMS environment (SampleManager or similar)
- Deliver system enhancements, configurations, and integrations
- Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and user management
- Develop reports, perform SQL queries, and maintain data integrity
- Gather requirements and implement business-driven improvements
- Maintain documentation and support system testing and upgrades
- Work closely with laboratory, ICT, and vendor stakeholders

Skills and Experience

- Experience with LIMS platforms (SampleManager or similar)




- Knowledge of scientific or laboratory environments
- Exposure to SQL, .NET/C#, Java, HTML, Visual Basic, or VGL
- Strong database administration and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Self-motivated team player with strong organisational skills

Rates on offer will be commensurate with your skills and experience. Please note that the candidate must be able to obtain Baseline AGSVA Security Clearance for this prospect.
