Villanova College is seeking a casual Lower Brass Instrument Tutor to deliver instrumental music tuition across its Music program. This role will commence in January 2027. This is an ongoing casual role suited to a practising musician with a genuine interest in developing young players from beginner through to advanced levels.

This position involves

- Up to 2 days of tuition per week, across private and small group lessons
- Delivering structured, engaging instruction across a range of year levels and abilities
- Working collaboratively with the Head of Music and broader faculty to support student progress

About You The successful applicant will:

- Hold a relevant qualification in music performance or music education (or demonstrate equivalent professional experience)
- Have demonstrated experience teaching lower brass at secondary school level, with beginner program experience highly regarded
- Be able to deliver effective private and group tuition, adjusting approach to suit individual learners
- Communicate effectively with students, staff and parents
- Bring professionalism, reliability and a genuine commitment to student musical development
- Hold a valid Blue Card and be willing to undergo relevant child safety screening
