We're seeking a trade-qualified Electrician to join our Maintenance team at our poultry processing facility. Working a fixed night shift roster, you'll play a key role in maintaining plant reliability, responding to breakdowns, and supporting preventative maintenance activities to keep production running smoothly.
What You'll Be Doing
- Electrical fault finding and troubleshooting of production equipment
- Breakdown response and repair
- Planned and preventative maintenance
- Servicing and maintaining motors, conveyors, pumps, drives and control systems
- Assisting with equipment upgrades and improvement projects
- Maintaining maintenance records and work orders
- Ensuring compliance with food safety, quality and safety standards
What You'll Bring
- Current A-Grade Electrical Licence
- Previous experience in manufacturing, FMCG, food processing or industrial environments
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Experience working with production equipment and electrical control systems
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
- A proactive approach to safety, quality and continuous improvement
- PLC fault-finding experience
- Exposure to automation and VSDs
- Experience within poultry, meat or food manufacturing
