Our client is a leading Australian business operating a large-scale facility in regional Victoria. Your new company

Our client, Select Harvests, is one of Australia’s leading agribusinesses and one of the world’s largest almond growers, with 15 farms across three states. Their operations feed into the centrally located, state-of-the-art Carina West almond processing facility, producing premium Australian almonds for domestic and international markets.

Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join their maintenance team on a 7 days on, 7 days off roster, working 12-hour shifts.

Your new role

Working within the Maintenance Team, you will play a key hands-on role in keeping the plant and equipment operating safely, reliably and efficiently.

Your responsibilities will include

- Fault-finding and troubleshooting mechanical equipment
- Performing breakdown repairs and preventative maintenance
- Maintaining conveyors, processing equipment and production machinery
- Identifying potential equipment issues and implementing proactive solutions
- Carrying out repairs, component change-outs and general mechanical maintenance
- Supporting reliability and continuous improvement initiatives
- Working closely with production and maintenance teams to minimise downtime

What you'll need to succeed





- Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade or equivalent fitter qualification
- Experience within FMCG, food manufacturing, heavy industrial or general engineering environments
- Solid mechanical fault-finding and troubleshooting capabilities
- Experience maintaining conveyors, processing equipment, rotating equipment and/or production machinery
- A proactive approach to preventative maintenance and equipment reliability
- Strong commitment to safety
- Ability to work independently and within a maintenance team
- Willingness to work a 7-on/7-off roster consisting of 12-hour shifts
