The Role

This newly created role within the Clover Finance Team is an exciting opportunity to directly report to the Head of Finance and National Operations Manager. This Head Office role located in the Northern Suburbs of Melbourne will help manage and integrate the financial results of multiple business unit sites within Clover Pipelines.

A dynamic role within a growth area of Clover’s business,



namely the Clover Finance Team, this role will cover financial reporting and process improvement, requiring close teamwork with onsite operations and the broader Finance team.

What You'll Do

- Take charge in newly created role working within the Finance Function
- Support supply chain planning through accurate cost forecasting, inventory and purchasing budgets, and identification of cost-saving opportunities.
- Assist in financial reporting requirements, including cashflow, balance sheet, profit and loss
- Preparation of management reporting and other Group Reporting requirements, reporting directly to external stakeholders
- Assist and manage month-end and year-end closure and reconciliations
- Assist in forecasting, budgeting & preparations and trend analysis
- Build relationships and work with external stakeholders
- Review existing processes for improvement and develop new processes where gaps are identified
- Provide ad-hoc analysis to Management using commercial acumen
- Attend to ad-hoc financial accounting related tasks as delegated by the Head of Finance

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

- Proven 3 – 5 year experience as a Financial Accountant or similar role.
- CA/CPA qualified




- Warehousing and/or supply chain experience is advantageous
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel, Accounting Software (eg. Xero, MYOB Acumatica).
- In-depth understanding of business bookkeeping procedures
- Excellent math skills with an attention to detail
- Time-management abilities
- Strong communication skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to operate autonomously and a team player
- Highly organised, independent, have good technical knowledge, and have good commercial sense.
