An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Management Accountant & Finance Analyst to join our Finance team.

About the role

We are a household name FMCG manufacturer of your favourite food brands, looking to expand the skills and strengths in our financial analysis, management and systems accounting team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

- Analysis of revenue and gross margin trends, cost analysis and factory performance analysis

- Building of data models and working closely with the IT teams to improve existing data models to improve financial insights.

- Product costing and cost analysis for imports, exports, New Zealand operations, and Thailand operations including the Thailand manufacturing facility

- Management and maintenance of Financial Reporting Systems for Inventory accounting

- Systems accounting including the inner workings of Oracle’s JD Edwards ERP

- Commercial analysis of future sales opportunities

- Data architecture, inquiry and data analytics





This position does not provide the ability to work from home.

About you:

The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:

- Tertiary qualifications in accounting (or similar)

- Minimum of 5 years' experience in commercial accounting or data analytics

- Effective interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to deal with stakeholders of all levels

- Strong technical skills in data analysis and systems accounting
- intrinsic desire to question everything and understand how a business really makes money
- A proactive approach and an adaptive, positive “can-do” attitude

- Excellent data analysis and Microsoft Excel skills
