Rural City of Wangaratta is seeking an accomplished and progressive leader to drive the strategic direction of our Technology &

Reporting to the Director Corporate &

- Leisure, you will lead Council's technology, cybersecurity, data, GIS and information management functions, ensuring the organisation has the systems, information and digital capabilities needed to meet today's challenges and embrace tomorrow's opportunities.

As a trusted adviser to senior leaders, you will play a pivotal role in shaping organisational priorities, guiding technology investment decisions and delivering projects that improve productivity, strengthen cybersecurity, enhance customer and employee experiences, and support informed decision-making through quality data and information.

You will lead a skilled and dedicated team while fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement. Working across all areas of Council, you will build solid partnerships, champion technology-enabled change, and ensure Council's technology and data services remain secure, reliable, future-focused and aligned to business needs.

This role offers a unique blend of strategic leadership and hands-on impact. You'll have the opportunity to influence organisation-wide outcomes, lead significant projects, modernise systems and services, strengthen data capability, and help shape the future direction of a growing regional Council.
