Magic Millions is Australia’s premier thoroughbred auction house with sales conducted in four states of Australia on its annual live auction and digital sales calendar. The auction house is the leading producer of stakes winners across Australia, and is renowned for being the sales source of elite two-year-olds, with Magic Millions being the only auction house to sell a Golden Slipper (the world’s richest race for juveniles) winning colt this millennium.

Magic Millions Sales Pty Limited, located at Gold Coast, is currently seeking a highly experienced and capable staff member to join our team on a full-time basis.

This role is key to growing Magic Millions’ international markets, particularly Europe and the Middle East, and attracting investment in Australian bloodstock. Support live and digital sales through strong client relationships, international trade missions, thoroughbred evaluations, pre-sale preparation and strategic bloodstock recruitment.

The successful applicant/s must be able to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of industry best practice, with either international experience or a thorough understanding of the global trends of the thoroughbred industry.

Marketing & Bloodstock Sales Specialist

Essential Skills:





· Development of marketing and sales strategy to increase attendance and new investment at Magic Millions sales from European & Middle-East based buyers

· Establish new marketing and sales contacts and grow the Magic Millions database, with a focus on international markets such as Europe & the Middle East

· Development of marketing campaigns to promote and educate the benefits of the Australian thoroughbred worldwide, including the advantages of purchasing and racing horses in Australia

· Foster long-term, productive relationships with vendors and buyers

· Maintain high internal standards and collaborative team dynamics

· Ensure quality, accuracy, and timely management of horse entries

· Provide pre-sale bloodstock support to buyers and vendors

· Proactively manage issues and maintain service excellence

· Represent Magic Millions globally with professionalism and integrity

Desirable Skills:

· A relevant Australian or International Bachelor Degree or similar qualification

Terms of Employment

This is a full-time position, with a minimum commitment of at least 2 years.

The salary will be above award – in the range of $85,000 to $100,000 plus per annum, dependant on skills and experience.
