At Kingspan Water & Energy we are proud to be Australia's leading manufacturer of water storage, rainwater harvesting and wastewater treatment solutions. For residential properties to large scale commercial and rural projects, we design, manufacture and install industry leading steel water tanks across Australia.
We are currently seeking a Trades Assistant to join our manufacturing team in Hazelmere WA. This is a hands-on role offering stable employment, and the chance to build valuable manufacturing skills within a supportive team environment.
What You'll be Doing
As a Trades Assistant you'll play an important role in supporting our production team, including:
- Assisting with the manufacture of rural and commercial tank components
- Cutting, punching and preparing steel products to specification
- Assisting with trusses, platforms, ladders and other fabricated components
- Operating hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Supporting assembly and manufacturing activities across the workshop
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work environment
- Following work instructions, procedures and quality standards
- Contributing to a strong safety culture and continuous improvement initiatives
About You: To be successful in this role you will:
- Have previous experience in manufacturing, production or workshop environments
- Be confident using hand and power tools
- Have experience with sheet metal, fabrication or assembly work (desirable)
- Be physically fit and capable of manual handling duties
- Take pride in producing quality work
- Be reliable, safety-focused and eager to learn
- Work well both independently and as part of a team
- Have good communication and the ability to follow instructions
