About the role

This is a hands-on junior marketing role with a strong focus on social media, content creation and graphic design. You will work closely with our Marketing Manager to assist with the execution of marketing activity across our portfolio of brands, while gaining exposure to social media, digital marketing, EDMs, websites, retail campaigns, print, point-of-sale material and broader brand activity. The role would suit someone early in their marketing career who is creative, organised and confident working with digital content and design.

You won't be expected to develop the overall marketing strategy. Instead, you'll help bring approved campaigns and brand plans to life through strong execution, organisation and creative support.

Key responsibilities - snapshot

- Assist with the day-to-day management of Berman Trading's brand social media channels
- Schedule and publish approved content across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube
- Create engaging social content including static posts, stories, reels and short-form video
- Write and adapt social media copy in line with brand tone and guidelines
- Create digital assets for social media, websites, EDMs and promotional campaigns
- Assist with the development and adaptation of point-of-sale material
- Create and update price lists, catalogues, promotional material and other sales support assets
- Assist with content updates across Berman Trading and brand websites
- Assist with the creation and formatting of EDM campaigns
- Assist the Marketing Manager with the execution of retailer marketing campaigns

About you

- Strong Canva skills
- A good eye for design and visual presentation
- Confidence creating content for Instagram and other social platforms
- Basic video editing skills for reels and short-form content
- Strong written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good organisational and time-management skills
- Confidence using Microsoft Office
- A willingness to learn new platforms and systems
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, Mailchimp, Meta Business Suite or Google Analytics would be advantageous

Key Responsibilities

Social Media & Content

- Assist with the day-to-day management of Berman Trading’s brand social media channels
- Schedule and publish approved content across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube
- Assist the Marketing Manager with maintaining and executing social media content calendars
- Create engaging social content including static posts, stories, reels and short-form video
- Write and adapt social media copy in line with brand tone and guidelines
- Resize and adapt supplied global brand assets for Australian channels
- Assist with basic community management where required
- Maintain profile links and platforms such as Linktree
- Assist with reporting on social media performance and engagement

Graphic Design & Creative Support

- Create digital assets for social media, websites, EDMs and promotional campaigns




- Assist with the development and adaptation of point-of-sale material
- Create and update price lists, catalogues, promotional material and other sales support assets
- Resize and adapt artwork for different platforms and retailer specifications
- Ensure work follows supplied global and local brand guidelines
- Maintain an organised library of marketing and creative assets

Strong Canva skills are significant for this role. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is highly regarded

Website Support

- Assist with content updates across Berman Trading and brand websites
- Upload and update imagery, copy and product information
- Assist with the implementation of updated global brand guidelines
- Support general website maintenance and content improvements

Experience with WordPress or another CMS is desirable EDM & Email Marketing

- Assist with the creation and formatting of EDM campaigns
- Build campaigns using approved content and templates
- Update subscriber lists and assist with segmentation
- Create and maintain website sign-up forms
- Schedule and send approved EDM campaigns
- Assist with basic campaign reporting and performance analysis

Experience with Mailchimp or a similar email marketing platform is desirable. Retail & Campaign Support

- Assist the Marketing Manager with the execution of retailer marketing campaigns
- Help organise promotional material, gifting and point-of-sale requirements
- Assist with obtaining quotes from printers and other suppliers
- Help coordinate approved print and POS production
- Assist with retailer communication relating to marketing assets, promotions and GWP activity
- Support the preparation and distribution of marketing material to retailers

Marketing Administration

- Maintain marketing calendars and campaign schedules
- Assist with the organisation and filing of marketing assets
- Update price lists and other marketing collateral
- Assist with barcode creation and product information where required
- Support the Marketing Manager with general day-to-day marketing administration
- Assist with other marketing projects as they arise
