Role Description The Marketing Assistant with Graphic Design role is a full time, 12-month contract position based on-site in Melbourne, VIC. This role supports the marketing team with day-to-day activities, including assisting with marketing campaigns, preparing promotional materials, and coordinating sales and marketing communications. A key focus is on creating and updating graphic design assets for digital and print channels, such as brochures, social media content, email marketing, and product presentations.

The position also involves maintaining brand consistency across all visual materials, assisting with website content updates, and supporting events, trade shows, and training initiatives.





The Marketing

Assistant will collaborate closely with sales, customer service, and technical teams to ensure marketing materials align with customer needs and product positioning.

Qualifications

- Strong Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in Market Research, including gathering and interpreting customer and competitor insights to inform marketing activities.
- Customer Service skills with a focus on supporting internal and external stakeholders and responding to marketing-related inquiries.
- Sales and Sales & Marketing skills to assist with promotional campaigns, sales collateral, and lead generation activities.
- Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud or similar) and experience producing digital and print marketing materials.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
- Comfort working in an industrial or manufacturing environment; experience in tools, abrasives, or related sectors is an advantage.

- Post-secondary qualification in Marketing, Design, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
