Join the energetic team at McDonald's Esperance as a Department Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and motivating a team to deliver exceptional customer service at our restaurant located in Esperance WA 6450. As a Department Manager, you will play a key part in the smooth running of the restaurant and contribute to the overall success of the McDonald's brand.

What you'll be doing

- Overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant during your shift, including managing staff, handling cash and stock control
- Running a department within the business framework - rostering, inventory, hiring
- Candidates must be available to work rotating shifts including days, evenings and weekends as required
- Ensuring excellent customer service by maintaining high standards of food quality, cleanliness and safety
- Providing coaching and support to crew members to develop their skills and grow within the organisation
- Analysing sales data and staffing requirements to drive operational efficiency
- Acting as a brand ambassador and role model, embodying the McDonald's values and culture
- Collaborating with the restaurant management team to implement strategic initiatives

What we're looking for

- Previous experience in a supervisory or management role, ideally within the hospitality or retail industry. McDonald's qualifications a big advantage.




- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent customer service orientation and a passion for delivering high-quality experiences
- Solid problem-solving and decision-making abilities to handle daily operational challenges
- Numeracy skills and the ability to analyse data to drive process improvements
- A flexible and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Must be willing to relocate to or near Esperance.
- Candidates must have Australian work rights and be legally eligible to work in Australia
