Bundaberg is also renowned for its strong agricultural industry. particularly sugar can and its iconic rum and brewed drinks. Approx. 4.5 hrs drive from Brisbane.

Dates: Monday 2nd November to Friday 18th December 2026.
Hours weekdays 7.30 am to 4pm break to be confirmed.

Job Description:
As the Pharmacist you will be primarily responsible for providing medications and medication advise to the hospital Oncology Patients. You will provide comprehensive medication reviews for patients receiving cancer therapies, preparation of oncology orders for both chemotherapy and non -chemotherapy drugs on a weekly basis, working closely with staff in Day Oncology Unit. Assisting Doctors with regards to compassionate supply/patient assistance programs. organise medication supply for patients.

Skills Required:
* Registration as a Pharmacist with the Pharmacy Board of Australia (AHPRA).
* Previous experience working in an Oncology Pharmacy workplace.
* Previous experience in a retail pharmacy setting conducting customer consultants.
* Fred Dispense exp essential.




* Experience in using Charm Oncology Software essential.
* Exceptional people skills.
* Successful locum will be required to complete an Accredited Health Practitioner application (however WWCC Qld will not be required ).

Pay Details: Hourly rate negotiable depending on Oncology experience (from $85hr + super)

Extras: Travel and Accommodation.
Travel expenses (mileage $1.01 per km or flights):

Accommodation:
A self-contained unit with 2-3 bedrooms. The unit is shared with other agency locums & recently relocated staff i.e. doctors, pharmacists. Bedrooms have a lock and include a bed, bathroom and kitchenette/fridge. Stove is shared. the accommodation is very near the hospital so for those flying in you wont need a car to get to and from work each day.
