Our practice is set in the heart of Balmain amongst the busy cafes, restaurants and shops on Darling Street.

About the role:

This casual role would suit someone from the local area or within the wider catchment of the inner west of Sydney; 2-3 shifts per week (Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays) and ability to cover holidays and personal leave is preferred.

The primary function of the role is to assist with the smooth running of the practice by being the front line of our communication to our patients, supporting the GP's and other allied health professionals.

Duties Include:

-Delivering quality customer service to doctors, nurses and patients

-Maintaining confidentiality while managing patient records

-Greeting patients, answering telephone calls,



patient triage and booking patient appointments

-Patient billing and payment collection

-Working in a team to support the Practice Manager The right candidate will have:

-Experience in a general practice

-Best Practice experience

-Good knowledge of Medicare and Worker's Compensation billing

-Intermediate MS Office skills - Word, Outlook, Excel

-A skilled standard of personal presentation

-A high standard of integrity and an excellent work ethic

-Demonstrated patient-focused approach in service provision with genuine empathy and interest in their needs

-Work cooperatively and independently
