The Role

Sonic HealthPlus is seeking a Medical Officer to join our team at ANZAC House (2-3 days).

In this role, you will conduct pre-employment occupational suitability assessments for Australian Defence Force (ADF) candidates as part of the Defence Force Recruiting (DFR) program.

You will work alongside a highly experienced multidisciplinary team of Doctors, Nurses, and Screening staff who are committed to delivering high-quality healthcare assessments. A comprehensive onboarding and training program will ensure you feel confident and supported in your role from day one.

About You

Essential Requirements

- Australian Citizenship
- Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery (or equivalent)




- Current AHPRA registration (General Registration minimum)
- Ability to obtain:
- National Police Certificate
- Current CPR Certificate
- Working with Children Check

- Ability to obtain a Baseline Security Clearance (Sonic HealthPlus will support this process)
- Minimum 5 years post-graduate experience
- Previous Defence Force experience or military service (highly regarded)
