Cooper Civil & Crushing is seeking experienced mobile crushing operators to join our mobile crushing operations throughout regional Current South Wales.
These are permanent, full-time positions for skilled operators who understand crushing production—not simply machine operation. You will work within an experienced team operating modern earthmoving and mobile crushing equipment.
We run a modern fleet on Metso & Jonsson mobile crushers.
The roster
- Seven days on, seven days off
- Permanent full-time employment

- Accommodation provided or arranged while rostered, subject to project location
Remuneration and benefits
- Indicative operator rate of AUD $50–$55 per hour, depending on experience and capability
- Superannuation paid in addition
- Applicable overtime, penalties and project allowances
- Initial accommodation and relocation assistance
- Contribution towards economy airfare for successful overseas applicants
- Assistance obtaining Australian plant competencies, White Card and site VOCs
- Employer-sponsored visa pathway may be available to eligible applicants
- Potential pathway to permanent residency, subject to immigration eligibility
The positions We are recruiting operators with experience on:
- Excavators approximately 30–90 tonnes
- Wheel loaders comparable to CAT 980 and CAT 988
- Mobile jaw, cone and screening plants
- Quarry, mining, recycling or major civil-earthworks projects
Essential experience
Applicants should have
- At least five years’ documented experience operating mobile crushers feeding them with excavators or wheel loaders
- Demonstrated experience working around mobile crushing and screening plants
- Experience efficiently feeding jaw or cone crushers
- Robust understanding of feed control, production rates and material flow
- Experience constructing and managing product stockpiles
- Knowledge of product separation, blending and contamination control
- Ability to identify oversize, steel and other contaminants before entering the crusher
- Experience completing pre-start inspections and reporting equipment defects
- Basic mechanical awareness and willingness to assist with routine plant maintenance
- A strong understanding of isolation procedures and crushing-plant hazards
- A commitment to safe, productive and professional work practices
